Dr. Debritz was correct of course.  Ever since the metal was inserted, I have begun to experience extraordinary results.  Not only can I run, walk and climb in even higher heels than before, I can also pick up an XM signal (sans device) come rain or shine anywhere in the continental US.  Becoming bionic has its privileges.  But, air travel by commercial jet is not one of them.   No matter.  There are other ways to get to Nice (France) for your birthday.
