 As believers, we have everything we need to accomplish any task. Seriously. Remember the miracle about the five loaves and two fish found in Matthew 13: 17-21?
17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.18 “Bring them here to me,” Jesus said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. “ The twelve basketfuls of leftovers represent the adequacy and immensity of Christ’s provision. Take another look at your table. You have everything you need and more. It is a promise, darling!

 Life can be messy, chaotic, and ugly. Do not be disheartened during these times.
Instead, look away from the imperfections in your surroundings and in yourself. And dwell on God and God’s infinite possibilities. The looking will transform you so that you can push beyond your human frailty to do what seems impossible. It s a promise, darling. |
