Who do you really love?

We love to learn about the benefits of being a believer: the access to super natural spiritual gifts, the ability to call on and to be heard by God Almighty, healing when we are ill.

But there are some requirements.  Matthew 6:24 says no one can serve two masters. In other words, we cannot follow the dictates of popular culture and God's law simultaneously.  Eventually, we will abandon one set of ethics for the other.

If you think about it.  The decision to follow the Power who can solve all earthly problems should not be a difficult one.  But, alas, the choice is made difficult because the world's ways appear much more exciting.

But do not be fooled.  There is no success without God.  Anything contrary is an illusion.  If you read the biographies of those who chose a gilded Godless path you will soon discover that a reckoning for bad behavior always comes.  

Sin wreaks havoc on your life and those around you.  Sometimes the ramifications are physical.  Other times the results are mental.

God is the only One who guarantees peace and happiness.  It is a promise, darling.
